OBU Fixed Assembly Procedure

The passenger and freight transport operator by road with domicile out of Slovakia (hereinafter also referred to as “Foreign Road Transport Operator”) that decided to pay the toll in the Postpaid Toll Regime is obliged to fit all its vehicles with On-Board Unit (OBU) fixed assembly.

Foreign Road Transport Operator can order OBU fixed assembly to CESMAD Slovakia. Order form is available at the end of this web page. It is required to fill in all the details in order form.

The orders can be sent:

• by e-mail objednavky@cesmad.sk (xls format)

CESMAD Slovakia will issue pro forma invoice that will be sent to Foreign Road Transport Operator by e-mail stated in filled in order form and consequently by post.

Foreign Road Transport Operator should pay the pro forma invoice with total sum (VAT included) for ordered number of OBU fixed assembly. The invoiced sum includes the costs of the delivery (courier) too. The payment is needed to make with variable symbol that is identical with the number of pro forma invoice.

OBU fixed assembly costs 111.90 EUR (VAT excluded) per vehicle. The costs of consignment distribution (courier) depend on the weight of the consignment.

Afterwards CESMAD Slovakia will issue original invoice that will send to Foreign Road Transport Operator with specific number of cabling and voucher for OBU fixed assembly. Complete consignment will be sent by courier (DPD). Therefore do not forget to state the contact person (for the courier) with phone or cell number in order form.

Foreign Road Transport Operator takes over the consignment and chooses the Authorized Service of the list of Authorized Services published on web page.

Foreign Road Transport Operator should arrange the date of OBU fixed assembly with chosen Authorized Service and carry along the voucher and cabling that will pass to service employee. Foreign Road Transport Operator pays no more in Authorized Service.

Slovak Road Transport Operator can obtain OBU fixed assembly cabling and voucher at the Contact Points (Banská Bystrica, Bratislava, Košice, Nitra, Prešov, Trenčín, Trnava, Žilina). The installation is made also by Authorized Service.
